Hours and Fees

I work from 7am until 6 pm but can be flexible based on your requirements. Anything outside these hours are however classed as unsociable, and therefore a higher hourly rate may apply.

Please ask for full details of my fees and charges.

I consider myself very reliable and will only take time off sick if it is absolutely necessary, I do not charge if I am ill or take occasional days off.

There is a full fee charge for parents or child's sickness, however should there be a long term illness I am prepared to negotiate a reduction in fee - this is something we can discuss by prior arrangement.

Parent’s occasional days off, Annual Holiday, Bank holidays (Christmas and Easter included) are charged at full fee.

My holiday (4 weeks per annum) is charged at half fee, I will endeavour to give a minimum of 4 weeks notice.

What you need to provide

My fees include all snacks and drinks.

You will need to provide the following for your child:

  • Food
  • Nappies
  • Spare change of clothes
  • Baby formula/ milk, or tins/jars of baby food
  • Any playgroup/part-time nursery fees

Once your child commences playgroup/part time nursery it is usual practice for me to continue to be paid for the hours that your child attends the group.

Reasons being:

  1. Payment is for your child’s “place”, as it is unlikely that I would find another child to take up the “vacant" hours.
  2. That in the event your child is unable to attend the group, or your child is unwell and needing collecting for the group, then I will be responsible for that.
